Trimble  is recruiting for a HR Manager/Business Partner to fill an opportunity in Sunnyvale, CA.

An integral part of the Trimble HR team for the Sunnyvale office, the HR Manager/Business Partner will be responsible for directing managing a significant portion of the site’s talent management programs and employee relations activities. The ideal candidate must work collaboratively across all Trimble businesses and must be able to build strong working relationships with the Corporate staff employees and Trimble business employees.  He/she will combine HR expertise and a can-do attitude for this important role with a pragmatic, hands-on approach to deliver best-in-class HR services to our Sunnyvale office. 

This candidate must be willing to take ownership and accountability of assigned projects and responsibilities and work effectively with our HR team members across the US and around the world to ensure all Trimble HR goals and objectives are met. 

The candidate will help develop and facilitate the implementation of appropriate talent management initiatives and will review current HR programs and policies ensuring adherence to company goals.  The preferred candidate will have certain experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation management, and broad based talent management areas like performance & succession management.

 

Primary Duties:

· Key HR manager role on the global HR team with responsibility for helping to managing all HR related activities

· Handle the introduction and facilitation of our annual people cycle related to all talent management programs and other programs as assigned.

· Develops recruiting and retention strategies.

· Acts as employee relations expert for the Sunnyvale office. 

· Work with Corporate functional leaders and their staffs on employee relations matter, talent acquisition and overall performance management of the teams.

· Collaborates with business leaders and global HR partners to implement Trimble HR initiatives.

· Role-models Trimble values, challenges employees to be extraordinary, embraces ambiguity and complexity, and utilizes coaching as a way to grow and improve employee capabilities.

· Creates an environment that encourages collaboration, fosters innovation, and stimulates high performance.

· Provides leadership, training and guidance to all Trimble team members as needed.

Requirements

Requirements:

·        Bachelor’s degree in HR/management or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Professional certification a plus.

·        Minimum 5-8 years in increasingly more responsible HR leadership roles. Global high tech experience preferred with some international HR experience.

·        Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.   Strong employee relations and management partnering skills. Strong project management and high analytical capabilities with proven ability to deliver results. Knowledge of the laws and regulations governing US employment practices.

·        Demonstrated formal and informal leadership ability.

·        Experience working in a matrixed and decentralized organizational structure is highly desirable.

·        Ability to travel domestically is required.
