This HR Manager-level role provides strategic partnership and hands on support to our client account employees and Leadership Team to deliver people initiatives that drive business results both now and in the future.
  • Provide Business Partner support to the employees and leadership team for one of C&W’s largest accounts, diagnosing issues and opportunities within their teams and taking action, driving initiatives and working with other HR colleagues to execute plans
  • Particular focus on driving the talent strategy, including robust succession plans and developing internal talent, along with the recruitment strategy to ensure the right talent at the right time
  • Functional Responsibilities
  • Employee Relations – ensure proper coaching of managers to improve employee performance
  • Compensation - manage the annual compensation process for the region, ensuring alignment with company and regional plans, as well as consistent messaging across the platform
  • Workforce and succession planning – in close cooperation with the leadership and local HR teams, identify future resourcing needs, build succession plans and proactively identify resourcing options to close potential resourcing gaps
  • Data reporting – ability to run and manipulate HR data related to key metrics and validation
  • Recruitment – Support recruiting process for most senior/critical positions for the region, and liaise with in-country recruiting teams to drive recruitment best practices at a local level
  • Talent development – Manage talent review process, performance management, and employee growth programs, ensuring the continuous supply, development, and retention of top talent for local and regional roles
  • Training – Coordinate the training needs and training planning activities with the leadership teams, leveraging programs delivered by Regional HR L&D teams
  • Stakeholder Management
  • Liaise and develop relationships with organization counterparts in communications and change management
  • Deliver an exceptional quality of service to the leadership team, as reflected by stakeholder feedback
  • Finance Management / Cost Control / Profitability
  • Budgeting – support the leadership team in the compilation of the annual headcount and talent related budgets
  • Project Management – Americas HR Operations
  • Work with HR Director on a variety of HR initiatives and projects across multiple HR disciplines, including, but not limited to:  compensation, diversity and inclusion, governance and policy, change management, talent management, performance management, HRIS, and acquisition integration



  • Bachelor’s degree with major concentration in HR or business-related field; advanced degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a client-focused HR Generalist role with some union experience highly preferred
  • Ideal candidate will have prior experience in the Real Estate, Professional Services and/or Financial Services industry
  • Ability to build partnerships at all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a metrics-driven organization with matrix reporting is preferred
  • Project Management skills
  • Professional HR Certification is desired
  • Demonstrate confidence in coaching and influencing senior management
  • Professional and polished
  • Ability to perform as a trusted advisor
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to effectively deliver presentations

  • Personal credibility with key stakeholders and client is critical. Track record of building resilient relationships with and influencing a range of diverse stakeholders, both within the business and HR organization, to drive HR-related strategies for leadership
  • Communication and Presence
  • This is a role that will require frequent interactions with clients at all levels within the firm. Executive presence and the ability to deliver effectively concise, crisp information with authority and command to demanding audiences, both in written and verbal communication, is essential

Physical Requirements

  • Involves work of a general office nature; typically includes extended periods of sitting and/or operation of a computer for up to 8 hours a day
  • May involve periods of standing, such as operating at a copier/fax/scanner
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to write and type
  • Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
  • Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented orally and in writing
  • Ability to communicate information and ideas in writing and orally so others will understand
  • Regularly required to utilize vision abilities, allowing reading of printed material, graphics, and computer displays
