Internal Job Description Required.

The HR Manager for Aftermarket is a strategic business partner reporting to the Director HR for the Access business segment of Oshkosh Corporation. The HR Manager will have accountability for supporting the JLG Aftermarket Leadership team along with their teams, and will support the expanding U.S. Service Center locations.

< p> < p>The role is required to have a strong strategic and tactical capability and is relied on for council, leadership, execution, innovation and results that fully enable the assigned groups and in turn the business segment to meet its strategic and organizational priorities.< p>The ideal candidate should have a comprehensive understanding of all areas of Human Resources and have HR Generalist experience for a professional population.  The candidate will have the ability to build best-in-class strategies for organizational design and development, strategic talent acquisition and workforce planning, leadership development, and heavy employee relations experience.< p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES< ul>
  • Provide HR leadership in the areas of organization effectiveness, employee relations, performance management, employee retention, change management, manager coaching, employee and leadership development, succession planning, talent acquisition and retention, for the assigned groups.
  • Works closely with leadership of assigned groups, delivering solutions to meet organization needs while implementing and sustaining change initiatives to improve organization performance and enable a people first culture.
  • Creates, implements, and oversees processes and procedures, to support and ensure  legal compliance for all requirements and regulations in assigned locations related to all areas of Human Resources.
  • Promotes a positive work environment and ensures employee relations issues are effectively addressed in a timely manner, while minimizing organizational risk.
  • Participates in the Access segment HR planning processes and ensures that all HR programs and policies are aligned with organizational goals and priorities in support of the segment’s strategic and financial goals.
  • Up to 25% travel required to U.S. Service Center locations (Houston, Riverside, Charlotte, Atlanta, etc)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business
  • 10 -plus years of related experience
  • At least 6 years of HR Generalist/ Business Partner Experience with heavy employee relations

Requirements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business
  • 10 -plus years of related experience
  • At least 6 years of HR Generalist/ Business Partner Experience with heavy employee relations
  • Ability to work in both Hagerstown, MD and McConnellsburg, PA
