Access National is seeking an HR Manager that will provide expertise to managers and employees in navigating day-to-day issues related to performance and compliance while considering long-term employment objectives like development and engagement. This position reports directly to the SVP of Human Resources. 

Some of the associated job duties for this position include:

  • Source, screen, interview and provide due diligence in hiring the best candidates  
  • Create and maintain programs to maintain a pool of qualified candidates
  • Compile data and/or review and analyze reporting ensuring compliance with government and agency regulations
  • Development and implementation of policies and procedures
  • Coach management and staff through complex workplace issues
  • Manages, develops, and provides leadership to the HR Training Administrator and the Talent Acquisition Administrator
  • Oversee the company's Performance Management Program.  Assist managers in assessments, career pathing, and alignment of objectives.
  • Manage vendors, survey administration, projects vital to the success of the organizations goals and strategy
  • Works closely with all members of the HR team to support the organizations mission and goals.

Requirements

Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience

7 years of progressive HR experience

PHR, SHRM-CP certification within 1 year

Strong diplomacy and mediation skills

Must have good judgement, and decision making skills

Good leadership skills with a proven ability to influence others

Familiarity with EEO reporting, unemployment claims, and records maintenance

Current knowledge of federal employment laws

Experience developing programs, policies and procedures
