Formed in 2008, Millennium Physician Group has grown into one of the largest comprehensive primary care practices with more than 200 health care providers and almost 90 offices located throughout Southwest Florida.

The Recruiter will be responsible for the organization's talent management efforts including full-cycle recruiting and university relationships within a dynamic, growing, and changing environment. S/he is a key member of the Human Resources team, partnering closely with the HR Managers and HR Director and collaborating with all hiring managers across our multiple locations to develop hiring strategies that will enable us to fill critical roles and identify key hiring sources.   The Recruiter reports to the Human Resources Director. 

  • Lead the recruiting process through the entire candidate lifecycle
  • Partner with hiring managers to define talent requirements and develop sourcing strategy to execute on business needs
  • Build and maintain external networks by proactively searching for active and passive candidates through networks and active sourcing
  • Passionate about candidate experience
  • Maintain current knowledge of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines and laws, such as the Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Perform searches for qualified candidates according to relevant job criteria, using computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, cold calls, media, recruiting firms, and employee referrals.
  • Utilizes systems and processes, develops recruiting metrics to be measured and communicated regularly to the executive team, including time to fill and retention of new hires
  • Develop and manage the university relations program, including job fairs and preceptor programs.
  • Manage all recruiting service contracts including negotiating agreements and measuring return on investment.
  • Researching and implementing software for recruiting needs
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Human Resources Director and/or Chief Operating Officer.



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration required
  • 2-4 years of recruiting experience, preferably in the healthcare field
  • Must be outgoing and self-motivated with a strong desired to excel; and the ability to lead others.
  • Must have strong time-management skills and ability to multitask and maintain focus and discipline
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office, the Internet and computer aptitude
  • SPHR, PHR,SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred
