 Human Resources Recruiter& ProjectCoordinator


Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this key position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee record management, workforce planning support, and HR project and program coordination.

Essential Functions:

  1. Responsible for proactively sourcing talent, including: marketing through social media; networking; internal referrals; identifying trends in the external marketplace for attracting talent; and developing sourcing strategies for each position.
  2. Collaborates with managers on an on-going basis to ensure a full understanding of the job requirements/expectations and business needs for each open position and proactively partners with managers to identify future hiring needs.
  3. Posts positions to appropriate boards and social media sites, screens & interviews candidates, checks references, and manages associated applicant tracking data.
  4. Manages and conducts new hire onboarding and orientation.
  5. Assists managers with workforce planning by making recommendations for optimizing staffing levels and scheduling.
  6. Coordinates,processes,and manages HR and benefits related paper work and record keeping for new hires and terminated employees.
  7. Assists with benefits open enrollment and on-going benefits administration,including:processing applicable systems changes, maintaining files and benefits information on all relevant software programs and with benefit vendors, and managing insurance invoice processing.Acts as an in-house contact between benefit vendors  and staff.
  8. Responsible for coordinating or managing ad-hoc projects and on-going programs such as the Employee Wellness Program and other initiatives.

Requirements

Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience with full life cycle recruiting. Knowledge of recruitment & selection best practices; employment law related to recruitment & selection; HRIS; and MS Office. Ability to identify solutions for solving challenges; analyze data; communicate and influence effectively orally and in writing; make presentations & facilitate discussions; and establish effective & collaborative relationships with diverse populations; coordinate and manage projects.
