This position will establish partnership with line management and personnel to effectively deliver Human Resources services to the Field Organization. 



Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Coordinate in a matrix style organization with internal HR Business partners and HR Centers of Excellence (CoE), as well as external resources to meet business and corporate wide business objectives. Support leader to the HR-Gs and the HRBPs in our nation wide field operations.

  • Provides direction and training to field administrative personnel in all subjects related to HR administration including data processing in HRIS and all Success Factors modules, new hires, terminations, plus rates, union data administration, promotions, job changes, unemployment, recognition and all other HR administrative tasks.

  • Manage the administration of operating procedures, systems and records, and prepare periodic reports and summaries to keep management apprised of activities

  • Participates in the development and evaluation of standardized HR procedures writen for Field Managers.  Champions a "do-it-right" approach to process quality.   

  • Ensures the accuracy of organizational charts both hourly Mechanics and non union org structures.

  • Reviews Schindler (IUEC) employment history prior to reemployment and administers drug testing as requested. Organizes area communications and benefit events.

  • Provides assistance and employment information to complete unemployment compensation applications and workers compensation claims.

  • Assists with the preparation of the performance review, MRP and LDR/SDR processes by providing training and assistance with Success Factors may proxy into user accounts for data entry purposes, and creating calibration sessions.

  • May produce reports to ensure compliance and follow up with personnel in noncompliant offices.

  • Assists in the coordination of Labor / Employee Relation programs and activities, creates awareness and compliance.



Education:  A Bachelor's degree is required preferable in Human Resources.  SHRM-CP or PHR  is also preferred
