Home of the Masters® Tournament, the club facilities include a championship golf course, a par three course, multiple dining rooms, an extensive wine cellar and overnight accommodations for members and their guests.Augusta National Golf Club has an exciting opportunity for a HR Talent Manager.

Under the direction of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Talent Manager is primarily responsible for recruiting, learning & development, employee relations, onboarding, change management, performance management, and internal communications while maintaining the confidentiality of all Club business. Duties include:


Coordinates and manages the daily operations of the Human Resources department to include, but not limited to: recruiting, learning & development, employee relations, onboarding, change management, and internal communications.

Manages recruiting efforts for the Club, developing and implementing strategies to attract, interview, offer and onboard the best talent in the industry.


Attends networking functions, industry gatherings, and other events to proactively build and foster relationships in the local, regional and national talent communities.


Develops top-flight, internal learning and development programs across all employee populations – leadership, managers, supervisors, and staff. Enables access to external learning and development programs as needed.


Oversees the creation, implementation and ongoing enhancement of employee succession plan.


Reviews, develops, implements, and maintains the policies and procedures of the Club as outlined in the Employee Manual.


Develops and implements procedures for employee performance evaluations across the Club; manages and oversees process to completion.


Advises Club leaders regarding specific personnel or employee relations issues.


Manages and coordinates, with HR team’s help, all logistics, communications, and planning for employee engagement events.


Requirements

Qualifications (required unless stated otherwise):

Skills/Knowledge/Attributes:

  • Thorough understanding of human resources systems, learning and development programs, coaching and counseling methods, recruiting practices, and human resource law.

  • Ability to think critically, prioritize multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines and accomplish detailed work with accuracy.

  • Ability to apply new concepts and initiate change.

  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.

  • Computer skills to include Windows based applications including Word, Excel and Access as well as Outlook and HRIS system.

     

    Experience/Education:

  • Five years professional experience required; Human Resources experience preferred.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
