SUMMARY: The HRIS Administrator will be involved in the delivery of system development integration with vendor interfaces and other Firm technologies and maintenance.  Additional tasks will also include configuration, testing, upgrades, day-to-day support and data management, reporting and future technology initiatives related to the Firm’s HRIS system.    

1. Manage the day-to-day administration of the Firm’s HR system (Ceridian); testing, configuration updates and troubleshooting
2. Work independently providing support, including, but not limited to, researching and resolving end user problems, unexpected results or process flaws; perform scheduled activities/maintenance; recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
3. Write, maintain and support a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools
4. Develop data integrity protocols between HR, Accounting, Finance and other internal departments
5. Design and develop communication strategies relating to system integrations amongst internal Firm systems and technologies
6. Maintain HR and payroll data integrity in the systems by running queries, analyzing data, and creating and running various audits
7. Identify functional, technical and security gaps, and develop documentation to improve and automate processes
8. Serve as a key liaison with external vendors and internal stakeholders
9. Serve as a technical point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities
10. Support and manage technical aspects of Ceridian upgrades, patches, testing enhancements, validation and overall performance management of the system
11. Manage technical aspects of the implementation and design of additional modules in Ceridian, including employee self-service modules for compensation, attendance and health and retirement (benefits) information
12. Audit and manage Online Benefit Enrollment module and Ceridian web-based access for end users’ access to information
13. Create and update quick reference enrollment and user guides for employees
14. Edit, run and deliver regularly scheduled reports
15. Work closely with Human Resources, Payroll and managers to create customized reports
16. Gather requirements, map processes, and write functional specifications for new reports
17. Work with the end users to define systems needs and participate in process/system improvement efforts   


1. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Computer Science or a related field required
2. Minimum 5+ years of HRIS administration/management experience in a professional services environment required
3. Minimum 2 years of experience creating and updating training materials/documentation and conducting end-user training
4. Minimum of 2 years of experience with HRIS based project management and systems implementation experience
5. Strong proficiency and knowledge of Ceridian Software, including configuration, conversion and pre/post-implementation experience required
6. Strong working knowledge of implementing HRIS system (Ceridian) into an existing infrastructure
7. Strong understanding of HR processes and data, including eligibility and enrollment rules, and benefit procedures in order to ensure correct implementation and interface with existing Firm systems
8. Strong understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes, and experience with database tools
9. Strong background in data integrity analytics and audits
10. Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational, analytical and time management and critical thinking skills
11. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
12. Strong proficiency using Word, Excel, PowerPoint, iManage and SQL preferred
