Wilson Elser's is looking for an HRIS and Compensation Manager to join our inviting HR team to help exceptional professionals working in a collaborative team oriented environment helping represent sophisticated clients confronted with complex legal challenges. Wilson Elser's HR department is centralized in White Plains, NY and services all 31 U.S. offices.

The Position

  • Manage Firm's Performance Appraisal and Compensation Programs
  • Maintenance of Attorney and Support Staff Dashboards
  • Responsible for job market analyses to establish competitive programs and ensure legal compliance 
  • Advise employees on state and federal employment regulations, compensation policies, and procedures
  • Responsible for the procurement and implementation of all Human Resources Information Systems
  • Identify opportunities for systems improvements and utilize the appropriate resources to improve efficiencies (upgrades, patches etc.)
  • Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope
  • Develop policies and procedures that ensure the security and integrity of all employee data
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with the internal (IT, Payroll, Finance) and external (Vendors, Service Providers, Consultants) human capital involved to achieve desired results
  • Conduct audits of HRIS system to ensure data accuracy
  • Responsible for training all eTime Approvers on policies and procedures as the relate to time and attendance
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual HRIS reports (Headcount; Diversity and Ad Hoc reports)

System Maintenance and Management

  • ADP Enterprise v.5.02 (other HRIS system experience helpful)
  • ADP eTime v.6.3 (Time and Labor Management)
  • ADP Self Service (Employee Self-Service Portal)
    • ADP NetSecure (User Maintenance)
    • ADP Reporting (Report Creation)
  • viDesktop (Performance Management, Dashboards and Surveys)
    • Microsoft SQL Server *Dashboard Updates*
  • Headcount Application

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 2+ Years of HRIS and compensation administration ideally from a professional services environment.
  • HR project management experience as the leader in converting from one system to another
  • Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Excel (Pivot tables, VLookups, various formulas)
  • Strong analytical, communication, organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
  • ADP experience a plus
