HRIS Coordinator

New Hanover Regional Medical Center

Wilmington, NC


The HRIS Coordinator is responsible for the development and modification of department IT application and hardware. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Guides department management in the use of IT applications to maximize department performance and management decision-making
  • Maintains system documentation
  • Functions as a liaison to IS, equipment, and system vendors
  • Performs a variety of analytical projects related to compensation and benefits to include, but not limited to, system enhancement options and system/administrative procedure reviews to determine efficiency improvements
  • Recommends changes in system procedures and system enhancements



  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Services, HR Management, Healthcare Administration or other related information management field
  • 3-5 years of IT experience in a similar healthcare HR department
  • Demonstrated ability to support the ITs' application utilized to maximize the performance of the HR department
  • Demonstrated ability and 3-5 years experience supporting Lawson or Peoplesoft HRIS
  • Certification and/or licensure in program related to field preferred
