JOB SUMMARY

The HR Director will report directly to the President and CEO of Elite One Sources. The HR Director will be responsible to manage employment, oversee benefits, ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, maintain labor relations, maintain and ensure compliance with Company Policy & Procedure manual, oversee security & safety and training. Manage daily office administrative duties, Develop and maintain office policies and procedures

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish employment standards to ensure compliance with all applicable State and Federal Regulations as well as Company Policies & Procedures.
  • Assist in employment interviews, hiring and follow up correspondence.
  • Administer and communicate current employee benefits and research potential upgrades.
  • Ensure that all personnel policies & procedures are routinely followed and enforced throughout all departments.
  • Provide new hire onboarding orientation for all new employees within 48 hours of start date.
  • Coordinate and train employees and managers on all new policies and procedures
  • Hire, train and supervise all personnel in the Personnel Department.
  • Responsible for maintaining and updating all personnel records.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to all managers on all Employee Relations Issues.
  • Work closely with managers on all written documentation regarding progressive discipline
  • Provide guidance and communicate with all managers on performance reviews
  • Work with accounting to provide reports to CEO; such as overtime reports, employment trends, and unemployment data reports and all other reports as required by CEO.
  • Identify trends and provide guidance and solutions to CEO and managers
  • Keep CEO informed as to the status of the Personnel Department and of projects.
  • Communicate regularly with all personnel within the department.
  • Meet with all Company managers on a regular basis to review their special needs.
  • Build relationships with all employees to ensure that their needs are being met
  • Communicate constantly with all employees regarding other benefits available such as EAP by providing monthly updates from newsletters etc.
  • Be proactive regarding trends and provide quick solutions
  • Work collaboratively with Accounting to provide weekly and monthly reports weekly reports
  • Act as a back-up for payroll as needed.
  • Must be knowledgeable about payroll activities and must be able to speak to it.
  • Keep current with state and federal labor regulations
  • Monitor maximum utilization of the Company’s resources.
  • Participate in Safety Program as assigned
  • Stay current on all HR policies and new compliance procedures
  • Attend training provided by ADP and Brokers to remain current on new procedures regarding new laws
  • Cover-All Clause - Accept and complete, in a timely fashion, special projects as assigned by the CEO.

Requirements

Minimum Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong planning and organizing skills.
  • Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with all managers and employees.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required:

  • 4 year degree in Human Resource or related field
  • Solid understanding of personnel management.
  • At least 3 years experience in related field.
