Credit Technologies, Inc., a national credit reporting agency (credit bureau) specializing in mortgage credit is looking to hire an experienced Human Resources Manager for our corporate headquarters in Wixom, Michigan.

The main job focus of the Human Resources Manager will be to manage and administer HR roles and responsibilities, Benefit and Payroll support and advice to the organization. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred.


Duties may include:

  • Hands on involvement with all aspects of Human Resources, with a specific focus on Benefits, Staffing and Payroll.
  • Administers FMLA, LOA and absence management process through third party administrator. Understands and complies with responsibilities under ADAAA.
  • Oversees new hire orientation and on-boarding vetting procedures for all new employees.
  • Responsible for timekeeping interface for Payroll on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Responds to employee relations issues, such as employee complaints that may include claims of harassment, discrimination, misconduct, bullying, etc. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations and makes fact-based recommendations as a result of investigation findings.
  • Completes exit interviews; analyzes information collected to determine possible trends.   Makes recommendations as warranted.
  • Facilitate and coordinate communication with all parties involved regarding Human Resources related activities and issues.
  • Initiates, plans and participates in company events to foster a positive culture for employees.
  • Monitors and analyzes staffing and turnover trends and develops action plans to address problem areas.
  • Ensures that managers complete 90-day introductory reviews as well as annual performance reviews, in accordance with company process and standards.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all employees complete required trainings in a timely fashion.
  • Help managers maintain organizational priorities by establishing and/or interpreting human resources policies and procedures; identifying and evaluating human resources options and actions; warning against inappropriate actions.
  • Maintain human resources files and records in a professional and confidential manner

This is a direct hire, full time position and we are looking to fill it immediately. Benefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick leave, medical, dental, vision, and life insurance and matching 401K.


  • You must possess a private driver's license, undergo drug screening, pass an employment test and undergo a security check.
  • 4 + years Human Resources experience in business or corporate environment (non-retail).
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
  • Specific, relevant, current, recent hands-on experience in the areas of Payroll, Benefits and Recruiting.
  • Well versed in all areas of HR compliance including EEOC, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, etc.
  • Excellent verbal, written and inter-personal communication skills with a friendly personality and disposition.
  • Strong computer skills, proficient with a variety of software and database packages.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced secure environment.
  • Ability to adapt to various management styles and work environments.
  • Ideal candidate will have HR experience with remote workers in various states and/or a call center environment.
