Behavior Analysis, Inc. is one of the leading behavioral providers within the autism community. We are seeking a Human Resource Specialist to become a part of our growing family. A Human Resource Specialist is a vital part of any organization, so we are in search of someone who is people-oriented, a self-starter, detail-oriented, receptive to feedback, and responsible. The right candidate should have an excellent command of the English language – spoken and written. This is a small intimate office setting and candidate must work well with others.

Education : Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business management, or a related field.

Experience : Minimum 2 years providing HR support in a health care field

Certifications :

Any of the following is acceptable:

  • SHRM-CP (certified professional)

  • SHRM-SCP (senior certified professional)

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR)

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR)

  • Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR)

  • Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP)

  • Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP)


Requirements

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparing, maintaining and updating employment records related to hiring, transferring, promoting, and terminating
  • Explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards to new and existing employees
  • Ensuring new hire paperwork is completed and processed
  • Ensuring employee certifications do not expire
  • Informing job applicants of job duties, responsibilities, benefits, schedules, working conditions, promotion opportunities, etc.
  • Addressing any employment relations issues and consulting with legal counsel as appropriate
  • Processing all personnel action forms and ensuring proper approval
  • Overseeing hiring process, which includes coordinating job posts, reviewing resumes, screening, and performing reference checks
  • Knowledge and understanding of all agency benefit programs (i.e. Medical, Dental, Life, and 401(k))
  • Processing all necessary documentation related to employee benefits such as 401(k), health and related benefits, COBRA, etc.
  • Uploading and maintaining all personnel documentation into company database
