Job Details

As a Human Resources Administrator, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Handling employment application intake.
  • Preparing job postings.
  • Responding to reference checks and verifications of employment status.
  • Scheduling background screening for new hires.
  • Creating new hire packets and assisting with new employee orientation.
  • Time-keeping system administration.  
  • HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance.
  • Maintaining confidential personnel files and personnel actions.  
  • Training Administration -- Scheduling training and maintaining training records and certifications.
  • Safety Administration --  OSHA and Workers Comp reporting and ordering safety shoes.
  • Office Administration duties -- overseeing office and equipment maintenance, assisting with preparation for board meetings and employee functions, support Corporate office staff as needed
  • Supervise Receptionist and provide back-up front desk coverage

Requirements

EDUCATION/TRAINING:  High School Diploma or the equivalent.  Some college coursework.

CERTIFICATIONS: Human Resources certificate preferred.

 EXPERIENCE:  Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an Admininistrative Assistant role in a fast paced environment.  One year experience in a Human Resources department is preferred.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:  Fluency in Spanish and English required. Ability to perform duties with limited supervision. Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required. Attention to detail, superb organizational skills and strong oral and written communication skills are a must.
