The Human Resources Assistant Manager:

  • Demonstrates the ability to successfully juggle multiple priorities
  • Is results orientated and moves assigned initiatives forward with a sense of urgency
  • Visualizes his/her goals, provides clear and consistent direction to team members  
  • Exhibits strong time management and problem solving skills
  • Has the ability to work independently and thrives in a changing environment

 The focus of the position is to:

  • Assist with leading key areas of the Human Resources Department such as recruiting, benefits and onboarding
  • Assist with Employee Relations and Compliance work
  • Work closely with the Assistant Vice President of Human Resources
  • Coordinate departmental procedure documentation
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance relating to Human Resources

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university and relevant HR certifications. 
  • A minimum of five years of advanced HR experience in benefits administration, recruiting, employee relations, and regulatory compliance. 
  • Minimum of three years’ experience leading teams.
  • Minimum of three years’ hands-on experience with ATS and HRIS software.
