Job Details

The Human Resources Assistant provides administrative support services to other members of the human resources team to ensure operational efficiency and excellence. Work duties will include administrative duties for the office, tasks related to assisting the recruitment and employment process, using the various HR systems and tasks related to providing support with employee relations and benefits.  The HR Assistant will play a critical role in creating and maintaining employee records, and must pay close attention to the confidentiality of information. In addition, the Human Resources Assistant is the primary point of contact for the department with both internal and external customers and must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.  This is an entry level opportunity with growth potential.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required.
  • 1-2 years previous work experience preferably in HR strongly preferred
  • HR internship or other related experience, demonstrating strong interest in HR
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with ability to multi-task
  • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Must be customer service oriented
