HR BUSINESS PARTNER

Qualifications:

  • Education Required: Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis on HR preferred, or equivalent HR experience
  • Years of Experience Required: 2-5 years
  • Ability to track, prioritize, coordinate, perform, and manage multiple activities to deliver services to both employees and the business
  • Ability to evaluate and analyze workflows in an effort to streamline activities while contributing to work that is value added to both employees and the business
  • Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to protect confidential information
  •  Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment, ensuring communication to all stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high quality work and follow through on commitments
  • Customer service focused with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, (written, verbal, and listening) with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and HRIS systems
  • Demonstrated problem solver with a can-do attitude
  • PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP preferred

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this position will lead the delivery & execution of programs and policies for a number of functional areas in Human Resources at the highest quality standards to support our vision to build, align, and engage the workforce. 

 

  • Deliver and implement HR programs and policies at our world class facility with an eye on continuous improvement, to include managing the employee lifecycle, seniority lists, disability & FMLA, orientation & training, wellness initiatives, positive employee relations and investigations, rewards programs and event planning, community giving, internal promotion & selection, legal compliance, engagement initiatives, and more!
  • Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and processes
  • Act as site liaison for payroll and benefit information for site employees and HR Shared Services, and act as approver and back up for time and attendance
  • Obtain, track, and complete HR reports along with maintaining our HRIS system
  • Communicate proactively with all stakeholders, as well as prepare and deliver strategic communications, presentations, & correspondence
  • Other HR activities as required
