Heartland Food Products Group is a global leader in the consumer packaged foods industry, supplying store brand solutions for the retail and food service markets.  Products include SPLENDA® Brand sweeteners and zero calorie tabletop sweeteners for hot and cold beverages and granular sweeteners for both tabletop and baking use.  Heartland is also a pioneer in the emerging portable liquid beverage mix category.  Products are manufactured in the USA and distributed throughout the North America, Europe, Central and South America, and the Pacific Rim.

Heartland Food Products Group is seeking an HR Business Partner in Indianapolis, IN.  The selected candidate will be the key business partner in the day- to- day employee engagement, front-line leader coaching, as well as executing talent management actions. 

Selected candidate will interpret and apply company policies, benefits, practices, procedures, programs and applicable laws; analyze training needs to design employee training and development including safety programs and serve as the liaison between management and employees by handling questions and assisting in the resolution of work-related issues.  Candidate may be responsible for special projects related to other functional areas.  

Requirements

Demonstrated sense of urgency, passion for people and the ability to partner with the business.  Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.   Ability to speak, write and read the English language.  Bilingual in English/Spanish skills preferred.  Candidate should possess the ability to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets; good judgment and decision making skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite.  Experience using ADP HRIS, payroll and time & attendance preferred.  PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP strongly preferred.
