Job Details

The Human Resources Business Partner is responsible in all areas of Human Resources, partnering closely with the Corporate HR team and business leaders in order to champion a positive culture, nurture talent, and seek opportunities to create a positive impact on the organization. The overall goal is to align HR practices with the business needs while being an integral part of supporting the leadership team.  Provide HR expertise in the areas of recruitment and retention of talent, employee relations, manager coaching, and employee training in order to foster the transformation of the business. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Accountable in all Human Resources areas with a strong emphasis on recruitment, employee engagement, compliance, and employee relations.
  • Partner with business in order to align HR policies and practices with business needs.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment activity (job description, posting, interviewing, job offer, etc.) ensuring appropriate fit and quality of candidates.
  • Develop on-boarding program to ensure successful new employee orientation to the company within the first 30, 60 and 90 days.
  • Provide data and metrics as it relates to recruiting/retention,  employee relations, and provide business decisions based on results.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of the business while supporting employee related activities and programs in areas such as recognition, development, retaining talent, and compensation.
  • Partner with managers on coaching and performance management, and maintain a professional level of confidentiality at all times in all matters pertaining to employees and managers.
  • Provide guidance, interpretation and best practices to employees and managers on all HR policies and practices.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and HR experience.
  • 5+ years direct experience in the HR field with knowledge across all HR disciplines.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred

COMPETENCIES (SKILLS AND ABILITIES)

  • Strong consulting skills, including negotiating and conflict resolution
  • Proven ability to influence through relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly establish and maintain rapport with people of diverse backgrounds and professional levels.
  • Ability to work autonomously, while ensuring a strong partnership with Corporate HR.
  • Computer proficiency including HRIS/Payroll experience.
