At Ditch Witch, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) provides a broad range of human resources services to leaders and employees within the business areas they support. The HRBP proactively incorporates HR solutions that best enable the team to meet their strategic objectives. The successful HR Business Partner will build effective relationships and assist in developing a high performing and collaborative work environment. The position reports to the Director of Human Resources and is located in Perry, OK.



  • Perform diverse assignments including employee relations, performance management, staffing and recruitment, training, talent development, human capital management and compensation and benefits administration.

  • Support the full-cycle staffing process while partnering with hiring managers to ensure a positive experience for both internal and external applicants.

  • Contributes to a positive and productive work environment by providing performance management guidance to leaders including; coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary action.

  • Manages and resolves complex issues and concerns from employees in regard to human resources programs and services; resolve questions, concerns and when necessary conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations.

  • Works to identify organizational development opportunities and supports individual employee development.

  • Designs, develops and delivers HR related training to managers and employees.

  • Assists and provides guidance to managers with respect to their responsibilities in Success Factors Manager Self Service, Goals and Performance and Recruitment modules.

  • Prepares and analyzes reports necessary to carry out the functions of the department and company.

  • Works with managers to ensure we maintain competitive pay practices for the positions they support and makes recommendations to modify these pay practices in order to recruit and retain superior staff.



  • This position requires office environment for the majority of the time, with occasional trips to the shop.  

  • Requires approximately 10% travel including air and highway travel. This employee must be able to drive a vehicle.

  • The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Human Resources or related field required.

  • A minimum of three to five years of human resources experience working in a Human Resources Generalist position.

  • Proven ability to coach, advise and collaborate with employees at all levels of the organization.

  • Proficient skills in a Microsoft Office environment. Must include knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.


  • Superb consulting and critical thinking skills.

  • HRIS (SuccessFactors) software experience preferred.

  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred.
