EllisJordan Consulting is a boutique consulting firm that specializes in providing human resource services and solutions to businesses.  We are currently working with a client that is looking to hire a Human Resources Business Partner.

The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical support in all areas of human resources including: employee relations, talent acquisition, organizational development, performance management and HR compliance.  The HRB will also work with the executive and leadership team, in collaboration with HR colleagues, on key business and operational initiatives.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.  Advanced degree a plus.
  • SPHR or PHR certification, and/or ACIR certification is a plus.
  • 7-10 years of experience working in human resources, with staffing and recruiting and employee relations experience.
  • Experience working as a strategic business partner with executives and senior managers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information, analyze facts, and exercise sound judgement.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and problems solving skills.
  • Strong technical and analytical skills.  Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Experience working with HRIS and applicant tracking/recruiting systems.
  • Biotechnology experience is a plus.
