Job Details

CareScout is looking for a charismatic, detail-oriented Human Resources Business partner with a strong background in training and operations.  Successful candidates will be able to execute across many CareScout initiatives and will have experience in client management and employee relations.  As an internal consultant, participate in Human Resources processes including staffing, organization design, talent development and training, compensation planning, performance management/development, succession planning, and employee relations activities.

HR & Site Policies

  • Partner with clients to determine the best interventions to drive high performance levels and enhance team effectiveness. Facilitate the implementation of solutions and monitor effectiveness.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to associates and managers as needed.
  • Identify, evaluate, and resolve employee relations, work performance, and organizational productivity concerns. Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions. Effectively mitigate legal risks.
  • Maintains and updates site policies and procedures including schedule adherence, business continuity, and workplace security.
  • Communicates policies to associates on appropriate frequencies.
  • Troubleshoot leave administration questions with employees.
  • Coordinates annual remote contract renewals for clinical team.
  • Collects and reviews clinical team licensure annually.

Training and Development:

  • Collaborates with leaders and associates to determine ongoing learning and development needs; Coordinates resources to implement ongoing training programs.
  • Maintains and distributes training and SOP materials for all functions.
  • Manages GNW required training adherence.
  • Liaison with Richmond Learning & Development team.

 Recruitment and New Employee Onboarding:

  • Facilitates recruitment process for new employees working with Richmond staffing center as well as external recruiters including monitoring of candidate flow, coordination of interviews and feedback.
  • Owns onboarding of new hires including I9 verification, setting up equipment and access requests, coordination of orientation processes.
  • Works with CareScout Cares to integrate new employees.

 

Performance Management Facilitation:

  • Assists in administration of the performance management program; helps monitor the performance appraisal process.
  • Tracks performance improvement plans as needed
  • Works with managers to ensure performance improvement plan execution and feedback is happening according to appropriate timelines and documentation is maintained.
  • Provide associate and manager training on performance development review processes.
  • Serves as mediator for employee / manager challenges as needed.

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years Human Resources or relevant work experience
  • Demonstrated negotiation, training, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to provide coaching and feedback to managers and associates
  • Positive and professional manner to represent CareScout internally and externally.
  • Ability to build consensus across various constituencies and achieve results through others
  • Strong analytical approach to solving issues/challenges
  • Strong project management skills
  • Proven leadership and influencing skills with ability to energize and coach others
  • Strong people skills: ability to work effectively across all levels of the organization to address a broad range of issues

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • BS/BA degree in Human Resources or relative discipline
  • Prior experience in both training and human resources supporting operational functions.
  • Experience with Workday
  • HR Business Partner experience, with demonstrated ability to solve employee relations issues
  • SPHR, PHR, and/or SHRM-SCP
