Human Resources Consultant


In this role, you will assist local and regional management to facilitate the delivery of Human Resource services for the area and your assigned client group.  This may include one or more hospitals, medical offices, and/or other business entities, functions, and services. You will provide coaching and guidance on company-wide and local HR programs and initiatives as well as partner with managers to anticipate and plan for future resource needs and requirements based on health care and local market trends and conditions. In addition, you will consult with managers to address root causes of human resources issues and to provide leadership in developing action plans and coordination efforts for resolution and provide guidance to less senior HR staff. 


Qualifications Include:

  • At least five years of experience in human resource roles requiring negotiation and consulting skills working with managers and operational leaders
  • A bachelor’s degree in business administration, public health, psychology, human resources, or other related field or four years of experience in a directly related field with a high school diploma or GED; a master’s degree in business administration, psychology, or human resources related fields preferred
  • Certified PHR or SPHR, Six Sigma, executive coaching, and/or Project Management Professional preferred 
  • The ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment
  • Computer proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, database management, and other standard software applications preferred
