Ad Hoc, LLC is looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to perform HR and Recruiting related duties on both an administrative and professional level and work closely with HR/Recruiting management in supporting the entire company. The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for assisting with carrying out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Under general supervision, works with HR/Recruiting management to support the overall planning, coordination and administration of various Human Resources and Recruiting policies, programs and functions.develop, implement and oversee all aspects of Human Resources practices and processes.


  • Assist with benefits administration, payroll and other related functions.
  • Maintain and manage state employer registrations & new hire registrations.
  • Assist with 401k administration.
  • Respond to Human Resources and Recruiting related inquiries.
  • Model excellent communication, leadership and planning skills.
  • Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database.
  • Manage the employee on-boarding process which includes: drafting offer letters and non-compete agreements, sending out all other new hire/onboarding related materials, tracking completion and scheduling new hire orientations.
  • Assist the Recruiting team with job postings, interview scheduling, social media content creation and resume screening.
  • Assists with project work.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.


  • One (1) to three (3) years of HR experience in an HR coordinator, specialist, or other related role.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources or other related field.
  • Experience in a fast-growth commercial software or government services/contracting environment.
  • Must live commuting distance from D.C.
