Job Details

PioneerCare seeks a talented and motivated individual to serve as Human Resources Director. This full time leadership position provides administration, coordination, and evaluation of the human resources functions throughout the organization.

Job Description

In this role, the successful candidate will oversee and participate in:

  • staff recruitment and retention efforts;
  • maintaining current knowledge of industry trends and legislation and ensure the organization’s compliance;
  • providing annual review of related policies, procedures and practices;
  • communicating and ensuring compliance to changes in related policy, procedure and practices; assist leadership in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization’s wage and benefits program;
  • conducting exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations;
  • consulting with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters;
  • working directly with department coordinators to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters;
  • recommending, evaluating and participating in staff development for the organization;
  • maintaining a human resource information system that meets the organization’s personnel information needs;
  • supervising human resources staff; participating on committees and special projects and seeking additional responsibilities.

As part of PioneerCare’s senior leadership team, the HR director reports directly to the CEO.

Required Qualifications

The successful candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in human resources and four to ten years’ related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates will be highly competent in areas of leadership, ethics, business acumen, critical evaluation, oral and written communication, global and cultural awareness, relationship management and supervisory responsibility.

Preferred Qualifications

SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential.
