Job Details

Human Resources Director/ Legal Administrator, responsible for managing business functions and day-to-day operations of a law firm located in Chicago, Illinois. Responsible for firm accounting, billing, collections, IT and human resources. Must have prior law firm management experience, excellent leadership qualities and possess strong supervisory and human resources skills. Requires ability to manage a law office efficiently, organize work loads, establish priorities and maintain good interpersonal relations and communications with lawyers and support staff. All responses will be kept confidential. 

 

Requirements

Some of the responsibilities will include: direct supervision and oversight of all areas of human resources: recruitment of staff, employee relations, IT oversight and troubleshooting, training and development, retention and benefits administration. Will also work on strategies with executive director and attorneys.

Ideal candidate should possess superior communication skills, a willingness to learn and be coached, and great interpersonal skills.  Candidate must have IT background and a record of success managing a law firm as well as a minimum of a BA with specialized HR certifications.
