Sport Clips continues to experience success through our belief that our Team Members are our greatest asset. Currently, we are seeking a Director of People to grow our Company Stores team.  In this position, you will focus on recruitment and retention of “A Player” Store Managers and Team Members for all Company Stores in Austin and Las Vegas.  Share our energy and enthusiasm for implementing a talent strategy and brand to create the best experience for job seekers and Team Members, helping our Company Stores become the “Employer of Choice” in our markets.  You will play an important role in developing our Teams and brand to ensure every Sport Clips Client receives a Championship Haircut.

What You’ll Do:

Manage, develop, execute, and continuously improve the total rewards components (compensation, benefits, payroll, and core HRIS), employee relations, new Team Member onboarding, and HR data reporting of Sport Clips company stores and Support Center.
Lead a small, but mighty, team of HR professionals in the delivery of championship HR service.
Work closely with other HR Leaders and Area Leaders to ensure alignment of attraction and onboarding efforts.
Evaluate external labor market conditions and analyze data to identify gaps and trends.
In partnership with the CTO, design and implement a total rewards strategy which ensures that Sport Clips continues to be an employer of choice and has the tools available to ensure a competitive total rewards plan for our Team Members.
Create and maintain an appropriate job structure and competitive market pricing which will support the company growth.
Serve as SME for total rewards offerings for Team Members.
Along with HR Manager(s), ensure the maintenance of accurate and concise records and reports concerning Team Members within the Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS).
Identify HR paper-based/manual processes which are better served through automation, drive these out, and implement technology solutions.
Work with HR team to maintain compliance with all local rules and regulations related to hiring and recruiting.
Further elevate the already exceptional HR team through positive mentorship and leadership.


What You’ll Need:

Bachelor's degree in related field; Master’s degree preferred
10+ years of human resources experience in salon, service, or retail industry preferred, with at least 4 years of progressive leadership experience
CCP and/or CBP certification preferred, but not required
Proven experience building compensation/job structures
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to effectively present information to internal and external associates.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills
Familiar with HRIS optimization, ideally ADP WorkforceNow
Ability to interpret and analyze recruiting metrics and trends: retention, quality of hire, etc.
Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, and provide direction to a team of employees
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership with focus on continuous improvement
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to handle and maintain confidential information
Demonstration of organizational core values
