Job Details

ESSENTIAL DUTIES


Specializes in benefit and compensation administration.

 

Compiles all payroll data, hours worked, sales/incentives, files taxes, insurance, and all deductions to be withheld.

 

Prepares payroll (Paychex) and benefit invoices to be processed for cost accounting.

 

Responsible for the HRIS, record keeping systems, time keeping, payroll, applicant tracking, and benefits. Trains new employees and supervisors on the systems.

 

Responsible for the safekeeping, accuracy and up-to-date personnel files, including performance/discipline file, medical file and the personnel file.

 

Keeps up to date on benefits and makes recommendations. Prepares open enrollment.

 

Assists in preparing information/reports for board meetings, budget, audits benefit renewals and other miscellaneous needs.

 

Processes orientation for new employees.

 

Assists with interviews

 

Is knowledgeable of HR regulations, policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum requirements: High School Diploma or GED and 4 years related experience, must be willing to obtain SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) certification. Preferred: Associate or bachelor degree in a related field and 2 years experience, SHRM certified.
