We currently have opportunities for you to advance your career in the insurance field in Southern Virginia.

 

We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist in Marietta, PA. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum 2 years of HR generalist experience with a focus in the areas of staffing (strong focus on recruiting) and employee relations. S/He must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management and possess strong problem-solving skills and experience using HRIS.

 

  • Recruit the best talent available to ensure immediate and long-term staffing needs of the organization are achieved by utilizing traditional and state of the art methods such as social media
  • Work in partnership with the management team to evaluate staffing issues and develop a recruiting plan to support the various departments
  • In partnership with the HR team, evaluate the company’s human resource practices, policies and services using our competition as a measuring tool to ensure we are delivering the highest quality service to our employees
  • Build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the company to establish self as an effective business partner

 

Position Requirements:      

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
  • Prior insurance experience and/or financial services background is a plus
  • Practical recruiting/staffing experience
  • PHR certification desired
  • Demonstration of self-development by working towards attainment of professional human resource designation
  • Positive, 'can-do' attitude
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to effectively interact with all levels of employees
    • Both written and oral communications skills
