Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush, with locations in Chicago,  the Western Suburbs and Northwest Indiana, is nationally recognized as a leader in comprehensive orthopedic services.  The physicians of Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush have received specialized training in orthopedic surgery and in subspecialty areas within the field of orthopedic medicine and can diagnose and treat the most complicated and rare musculoskeletal conditions.

 

The Orthopedic Program at Rush University Medical Center is ranked fourth nationally  by U.S. News and World Report.  Midwest Orthopaedics at Rush doctors are the official team physicians for the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bulls, and the Chicago Fire Soccer Club.

 

We are looking for a part time Human Resources Assistant (Intern) at our Corporate location in Westchester, who would report to our HR VP  We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

 

Responsibilities include:

-          Recruiting/Staffing

  • Placing ads on appropriate websites or in appropriate publications
  • Review applications/resumes
  • Set up interviews with supervisors
  • Set up finalists with directors
  • Check references and backgrounds

 

-       Benefits/Payroll

  • Assist in compiling data for incentive programs.

 

-       Maintains strictest of confidentiality

 

-       Stays  abreast of and complies with all state and federal laws including HIPAA, OSHA, and FLSA.

 

-       Adapt to change in a positive and professional manner.

 

-       Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.

 

-       Any and all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

-       Bachelor degree in Business Administration/Human Resources preferred or equivalent experience.
