The Human Resources Manager will assist the Facility Administrator in the development and administration of various Human Resources Plans and Procedures for all company personnel; monitors company recruitment efforts; and provides advice to management regarding employee relation issu
es. The HR Manager will be part of our Executive Management Team and will work closely with other department leaders to address and resolve employee issues.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manages, directs and supervises the staff and activities of the department. Plans and organizes staff and their activities to achieve the facility's mission and initiatives.

  2. Develops procedures and supplements that allow human resources staff to function efficiently and that are easy for facility staff to access and implement.

  3. Reviews Human Resources management throughout the facility to assure compliance with established federal, state and corporate policies and procedures.

  4. Reviews, evaluates, and directs staff development and training activities within the facility to assure compliance with TJC standards and corporate policies and procedures. This includes monthly new employee orientation and in-services.

  5. Reviews, evaluates and directs the recruitment and retention activities within the facility to assure compliance with federal, state, corporate and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, where applicable.

  6. The above responsibilities are a highlight of responsibilities and not a full list. Other responsibilities may be performed as assigned.

Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources or closely related field from an accredited college or university preferred

  • Five (5) or more years experience in Human Resources field

  • Two (2) or more years experience in a management capacity preferred
