MaxSent, a leader in the Private Security Industry is seeking a Human Resources Manager to join our corporate team! The Human Resources Manager will serve as a point of contact for all employees regarding Human Resource issues and will advise management on HR strategic planning and policy development. He or she will work closely with field managers to guide the hiring, training, development, and counseling for all employees. The Human Resources Manager is also responsible for monitoring recruitment, employee relations, benefits, workers compensation, and training.

· Develop policies and procedures to streamline HR activities

· Responsible for compliance with human resources related company policies as well as all applicable federal, state and local employment laws and regulations

· Reviews and makes recommendations for improvement of policies, procedures, and practices
· Communicate effectively with all levels in the Organization

· Support management by providing HR advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications

· Organize and coordinating recruitment process (create job descriptions, job ads, manage online postings, schedule interviews, extend offers, create new hire paperwork)

· Assist in the prescreening process of all potential applicants in regards to background investigations, drug testing, physicals, etc.

· Administer online training for new and existing employees and maintains training records
· Organize and maintain all employee files

· Assist in 401(k) and benefits enrollment

· Maintains and coordinates employee recognition program

· Responds to employee relation issues such as employee complaints, harassment allegations and civil rights complaint

· Participate, as appropriate, to timely and appropriately address, thoroughly investigate and prevent or resolve employee complaints and issues

· Always maintain employee confidentiality; demonstrate complete discretion when discussing employee concerns or issues

· Manage all aspects of the discipline and termination process including employee reprimands, write-ups, and termination letters

· Responds to unemployment claims and attends hearings and appeals as needed on behalf of the company

· Provide HR Reports as needed


Desired Skills/Experience

· Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field and 3-4 years of HR experience as an HR Generalist or Manager (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

· Strong attention to detail

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  Experience in a multi-worksite, multi-state environment highly desired

  Experience in union and non-union organizations - preferred

· Some experience with Federal contracts- preferred

· Some experience with Contract Personnel- preferred

Target Salary, $65,000
