POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources (HR) Manager position supports the LifeWell Senior Living team in all aspects of HR including but not limited to the development, implementation, maintenance, and monitoring of four major areas:

  • Employee relations
  • Safety program
  • Employee health and welfare benefits
  • Local, state, and federal reporting

Requirements

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

Must have a minimum of 5+ years of related experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Coordinator or the equivalent combination of education and work experience. The following skills and traits are required:

  • Strong skills in interpersonal communication, writing, and organization
  • Ability to handle confidential information with great sensitivity
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and high motivation
  • Good reasoning abilities and sound judgment.
  • Resourcefulness
  • Ability to work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
  • Basic knowledge of Section 125 cafeteria plans (flexible spending accounts) and 401(k) profit-sharing plans, including maintenance, recordkeeping, and reporting requirements.
  • Strong computer skills (MS Word, MS Excel, and HRIS system).
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in Human Resources or a related field.
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred.

Additional Responsibilities

Assumes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
