Job Details

You will own the HR operations group, managing the comings and goings, benefits administration, reports, reporting, and getting people paid. Along with a team of two stellar generalists, you will make sure the data is real. You will also do some corporate-y stuff, like reviewing policies and recommending changes, and managing open enrollment, and tracking this or that. You will work out of our corporate office in Littleton, CO.

Serve as manager and mentor to two HR generalists

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and our benefits brokers and carriers

Develop and implement processes that support a high volume people operation

Prepare and file reports to government entities

Manage the payroll process, including certified reporting for CA municipalities

Represent HR issues on post-acquisition integration project teams

Develop data driven insights to help elevate company performance

Anticipate issues and head them off at the pass

Facilitate an easy on-boarding process

Collaborate with the manager team to build a best-place-to-work culture

Compose informational and inspiring internal communications

Collaborate effectively with the field HRBPs, VP of HR and Administration, and the corporate staff.

Requirements

About you: You are not afraid to get your hands dirty (we are in the landscape maintenance business, after all). You like to provide wise counsel to managers and the HR team and you can keep our people practices compliant. You follow your curiosity. You love variety and you can wrangle the wide spectrum of HR responsibilities with ease. You cultivate relationships based on trust and respect. You say what needs to be said. You are discreet and tactful.

Conversational Spanish

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, human resources, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in human resources

Professional certification preferred

Emotional intelligence and the interpersonal savvy to work with everyone up, down and sideways on the org chart

The strongest candidates will have practical knowledge of:

Workers compensation claims

The alphabet regulations: EEO, OSHA, ACA
