Job Details

InterMetro Industries, a major manufacturer of over 3000 products in health care, food service and some commercial; is looking for an HR Manager for their Distribution/Manufacturing facility in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.  This is an ideal opportunity for an HR Generalist interested in moving into an HR Management role.  A general overview of the responsibilities include:

  • Design, plan and implement human resources programs 
  • Administer corporate policies related to recruitment and selection
  • Ensure staffing processes align with current and anticipated workforce needs
  • Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding
  • Coordinate benefits and payroll
  • Manage FMLA and Workers’ Compensation.
  • Maintain good communication with employees to promote positive employee engagement  
  • Act as Safety and Health Coordinator for the facility and work closely with Corporate EHS
  • Serves as location’s Ethics officer, responsible for training and compliance
  • Track and report on key metrics

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Management or related field
  • 5-8 years experience in an HR function in a distribution or manufacturing setting
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills
  • The ability and willingness to be available for 2nd shift
