Job Details

Absopure Water Co. is seeking an innovative and self-motivated HR Manager.  This position is primarily responsible for the attraction, retention, and motivation of talented candidates at our divisional site.  In this role, you will act as the primary Talent Management resource to all outside divisions, as well as serving as a leader in the Talent Management Department.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee the HR function at all divisional sites
  • Oversee the records department
  • Participate in all aspects of full cycle recruiting and source candidates as needed
  • Conduct candidate interviews for all internal and external positions
  • Administer Leaves of Absences (STD, LTD, FMLA)
  • Audit the Paid Time Off process ensuring that all Associates requesting time off have the time available and is entered correctly into Kronos
  • Facilitate the administration of payroll, checking punches, paid time off, LOAs, overtime/double time etc. in Kronos and SAP
  • Interact with all Associates by being actively involved with them on the production floor to foster positive relations between Associates and the company
  • Enter terminations and punitive communications into SAP and Kronos
  • Participate in organizational development initiatives and drive departmental goals
  • Work in collaboration with the Talent Manager to develop, implement and maintain best practices
  • Serve as a consultative resource for all members of the Water Group Management team
  • Create and edit all job descriptions to ensure uniformity and accuracy
  • Monitor and/or grant building access for all current and terminated Associates
  • Facilitate punitive action/termination meetings as needed
  • Conduct New Hire Orientations and Training as needed
  • Develop direct report(s) to take on progressively responsible duties and future identified roles within the organization
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related discipline.
  • MBA/Master’s Degree in HR discipline and/or PHR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 6-10 years HR experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, the ability to analyze work rules and policies, the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and ability to communicate with all Associates.
  • Demonstrate a strong desire to develop and grow into progressively responsible positions within the Company.
  • Must be hands-on and engage with Associates on the manufacturing floor.
  • Must be able to work at least one Saturday per month (8am to 12pm) and travel to our national sites as needed.

 

Physical Conditions:

 

Office environment includes extended periods of sitting and computer desk work.

 

Safety:

 

Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices including the use of hairnets, beard nets, ear plugs, and safety glasses.  Certain areas may have additional Personal Protective Equipment requirements including gloves, goggles, face shields, and aprons.
