Job Details

Drummond Woodsum is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee the Firm’s growing employee base. Major areas of responsibility include ensuring compliance with applicable laws and best practices; attracting, supporting and retaining qualified staff; coaching and counseling; performance management; compensation and benefit administration; and, implementation of personnel policies and insurance programs.

We have a top-notch, dedicated and professional staff. The ideal HR Manager should be able to develop excellent relationships with each to inspire their best performance. The HR Manager must be a problem solver and a doer who can make difficult decisions. They must be able to motivate and coach, work in teams, and create a fun, but professional, environment while achieving the Firm’s goals.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and an ability to learn other systems quickly.
• A minimum of 3 years of Human Resources experience
• Working knowledge of HR related laws and regulations
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to identify and handle priorities and sensitive issues with discretion and confidentiality
