Job Details

The Human Resources Manager originates and leads Human Resources practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented; high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, and standards; goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development of the hospital’s workforce.

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the hospital’s business goals.

The Human Resources Manager coordinates the implementation of people-related services, policies, and programs through Human Resources staff; reports to the CEO; and assists and advises hospital managers about Human Resources issues.

Requirements

 

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, or Organizational Development, Masters preferred. May substitute a combination of education and experience.
  2. Minimum of three to five (3-5) years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions. Hospital HR experience preferred.
  3. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organizational development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventative labor relations, preferred.
  4. Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations.
  5. PHR Certification preferred
