Job Details

This position is full time with benefits & exempt status. Starting salary range is $32.72-37.00 per hour, depending on experience.

As the Human Resources Manager, you will manage the day-to-day Human Resources operations for the agency.  You will partner with and advise managers on routine employee relations issues, coordinate recruitment, interview, hire, and on-board new staff. You will interface with contracted human resource partners and act as a liaison with brokers for liability insurances and benefits.

Duties

  • Analyzes wage and salary reports/data to recommend a competitive compensation plan
  • Collaborates with managers in projecting employment trends and needs
  • Makes recommendations regarding personnel policies and practices
  • Routinely reviews, gathers input and updates Employee Handbook
  • Coordinates recruitment, screening, interviewing, hiring and orientation of new employees in partnership with managers
  • Oversees maintenance of personnel and other HR records according to state and federal laws, Medicare regulations, and Joint Commission standards
  • Manages employee benefits including renewals, changes,  COBRA  notices and tracking, creditable coverage notification, and benefit payments
  • Assists managers with coaching, disciplinary processes and appropriate documentation
  • Manages leave process in accordance with current law and policy including notifications to employees, short and long-term disability, benefit payment and return to work
  • Shares administrative call rotation as appropriate
  • Analyzes employee benefit programs, researches options and obtains bids on an annual basis

Requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or related field
  • Three years of experience in a human resources position, preferably in health care or human services setting
  • Professional certification in Human Resources desired
  • Must have current driver’s license, dependable transportation, and proof of current automobile insurance
