Job Details

Title:                       Human Resources Manager   (California)

The primary function of the Human Resources Manager is to provide oversight of assigned offices’ HR operations.  Areas of oversight include employee relations, performance management, recruitment of experienced and entry level talent and local administration of firmwide programs.  The manager will work with Firm Wide HR and local leadership to deploy all aspects of effective workforce planning and administration including recruitment, onboarding,

Summary of Job Responsibilities:

New Hire Administration

  • Coordinate local office new hire process and orientation.
  • Coordinate WorkDay onboarding process
  • Run background reports
  • Manage employee files
  • Provide HR support for new hire questions.
  • Issue home office equipment; arrange seating and other office logistics.
  • Coordinate technology on boarding including assignment of usernames and passwords for applicable systems and software.

Separations

  • Coordinate exit timelines and paperwork with corporate HR group.
  • Ensure firm property is returned.
  • Perform exit interviews

Benefit Administration 

  • Assist in educating local office employees about firm benefits
  • Manage local benefits programs and contracts
  • Answer employee questions regarding benefits- act as liaison between employees and firmwide HR.
  • Assist with new enrollment and open enrollment for the various firm benefits.

Compensation

  • Assist with facilitating offices’ annual compensation and bonus process.
  • Perform routine analysis on compensation ranges for competitors

 

HR Events

  • Coordinate local office and firm sponsored events such as “Take Your Child to Work” Day, firm outings, holiday parties, EisnerAmper Cares, etc.
  •  

Employee Relations

  • Assist Office employees with day to day HR related questions.
  • Coordinate local employment relations matters with Firm HR and outside legal counsel
  • Administer local office policy and procedures

 

Talent Management

  • Assist in the training of assigned region on “Elevate”
  • Ensure that all employees receive valuable performance feedback.
  • Participate in assigned office talent discussions
  • Oversee Administration of EisnerAmper University education by working closely with local tax and audit CPE committees
  •  

Recruitment

  • Work with corporate HR to coordinate local office interviews of experienced and campus applicants
  • Coordinate WorkDay requisition and applicant tracking process
  • Manage relationships with local recruiters
  • Manage relationships with local target universities
  • Oversee Intern programs 

 

Scheduling

  • Oversee the scheduling process for Client Service Professionals
  • Assist in the management and scheduling assignments for administrative professionals

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements

Requirements:

Five plus years of experience as a Human Resources Manager in a professional services firm (Accounting, Law, Engineering, and Consulting).  Strong knowledge of employment relations, talent management and performance development practices, compensation planning and recruitment best practices.  Knowledge of web based recruitment systems, direct candidate sourcing

 

  • Work with Firm Wide HR and local leadership to develop and deploy all aspects of effective workforce planning, deliver talent pipeline requirements (experienced hire and campus hire) and talent development. 
  • Responsible for providing day to day guidance to management (coaching, counseling, career development) and assist with the development and delivery of HR programs to assigned groups. 
  • Ensure consistency with established firm policies and practices.
  • Provide HR support, including training, benefits, onboarding, compliance and exit processing.
