Job Details

The Human Resource Manager is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resource function. Position is responsible for staffing, safety, and benefits as well as managing human relations for the company. Formulates and supervises programs relative to selection, training, promotion, welfare and other employer/employee relationships. Administers employee welfare and recreation services and serves as advisor to executive staff in personnel implications of policies, programs and proposed organizational changes. Responsible for ensuring and monitoring a safety culture and managing worker's compensation program. 

 

  • Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions, and helping
  • resolve work-related problems.
  • Analyze and modify compensation and benefits policies to establish competitive programs and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
  • Advise managers on organizational policy matters such as equal employment opportunity and sexual harassment, and recommend needed changes
  • Perform difficult staffing duties including dealing with understaffing, refereeing disputes, firing employees, and administering disciplinary procedures.
  • Coordinate new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward organizational objectives.
  • Identify staff vacancies and recruit, facilitate, interview, and selection of applicants
  • Plan, direct supervise, and coordinate work activities of subordinates and staff relating to employment, compensation, labor relations, and employee relations.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, or coordinate the personnel, training, or labor-relations activities of an organization
  • Represent organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
  • Administer compensation, benefits, and performance management systems and safety and recreation programs.
  • Provide current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions, wages opportunities for promotion, and employee benefits.
  • Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of person net problems, and develop recommendations for improvement of organization’s personnel policies and practices.
  • Maintain records and compile statistical reports concerning personnel-related data such as nires, performance appraisals and absenteeism rates.
  • Analyze training needs to design employee development, language training, and health and safety programs 
  • Oversee the evaluation, classification, and rating of occupations and job positions.
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining professional working relations with applicants business professionals and other outside partners
  • Ensures that the processes used Comply with company policy and procedure and meets regulation requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or related discipline or equivalent work required.
  • Five years of relevant experience preferrably in manufacturing environment and ESOP Company. PHR/SPHR certification or SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP Preferred
  • Strong business leadership and coaching abilities.
  • Foster open communication and champion change.
  • Possess skills and ability to train, coach and mentor supervision in effective methods in directing the workforce.
  • Leadership support, team player demonstrated coaching skills.
  • Familiar with labor, market, laws, wage and hour regulations and ERISA guidelines.
  • Knowledge of state and federal wage and hour requirements.
  • Proven success in supervision of H.R. associates.
  • Proven track record in developing method to reduce turnover, expertise in developing and maintaining recognition programs. 
  • Proven ability to maintain a safety culture and manage workers compensation cost.
  • Must be able to multi task.
  • Problem solving skills, ethical practice.
  • Ability to communicate to all levels of the organization and a commitment to excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
