Arconic Titanium & Engineered Products (ATEP) is a leading provider of aerospace-grade Titanium products to global aircraft and aircraft engine manufacturers.  ATEP is part of Arconic's lightweight and high performance, value added metals business; and a pioneer in the titanium metals industry and serves a variety of the world’s most important aerospace customers.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources,  with dotted line reporting into the Plant Manager, Arconic Titanium &Engineered Products, the Human Resources Manager will have the primary responsibility to deliver value added HR initiatives to support the goals of the business. for the plants located in Washington & Sullivan, MO. The incumbent serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues and as a business partner to the location Leadership Team. 

Major Activities/Key Challenges:

  • Partner with the Leadership Team and other leaders in developing and tracking execution of a strategic HR Plan, ensuring alignment with organization priorities and corporate guidelines.
  • Lead the deployment and execution of HR priorities.
  • Translate the organization’s needs into HR strategic and operational plans establishing key metrics and performance tracking processes.
  • Lead Workforce Planning and Talent Management processes to identify and address competency, knowledge and talent gaps.  Areas of emphasis include staffing, talent development and succession planning programs to ensure the organization is prepared to meet short and long term goals.
  • Develop and execute in partnership with the Leadership Team, supervisors and managers and the cultural transformation team, action plans to improve Employee Engagement.
  • Build and maintain partnerships within the business unit and Corporate Human Resources teams.
  • Continually assess the relevance of HR programs and practices, streamline operations and work with Corporate functions to reduce administrative tasks.
  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues.  Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations.  Partner with the legal department as needed. Provide consultation to managers with respect to performance management, employee development, disciplinary actions, etc.
  • Lead and develop the employees that are part of the Human Resources organization, to strengthen competencies in leadership and organization development, compensation administration, HR systems, and talent management.
  • Ensure and lead outreach activities in alignment with Arconic's strong values of diversity and inclusion in the workforce.
  • Determining and ensuring execution of Arconic’s Community Framework.

Provide coaching and guidance to location lead team member regarding employee management and individual development plans.



  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution 

  • Minimum 7 years of HR experience

  • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

  • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as an U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.


  • 5 years of experience in an HR Leadership role, managing direct reports

  • Manufacturing HR experience preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development or HR from an accredited institution

  • Organized, self-motivated, and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment with the ability to effectively interact with and influence all levels of the organization.

  • Excellent consulting skills and business acumen

  • In-depth knowledge of legal requirements to guide leadership, provide HR policy guidance and interpretation to support minimization of legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.

  • Strong interpersonal, coaching, collaboration, and negotiation skills.  Strong conflict management skills.

  • Strong presentation skills/ capable of communicating in both large and small group settings.

  • Ability to move from strategic to tactical seamlessly.

  • Data analysis, problem solving and evaluation skills.

  • Strong managerial and leadership skills.

  • Ability to be a change agent to drive a major cultural change.

  • Strong project planning skills.

  • Ability to translate vision and strategy into actionable goals.

  • Ability to understand global cultural issues that may exist in the technical talent realm.

  • Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
