Job Details

This position is responsible for:

1)  Understanding the strategic objectives of the business and HR to manage multiple HR projects designed to streamline service delivery. 

2)  Analyzing and measuring the effectiveness of existing business processes and developing sustainable, quantifiable business process improvements.

  • Implement multiple HR projects of moderate complexity, by evaluating effectiveness of current policies, organizational norms and processes and implementing improvements, developing new processes and programs. 
  • Prepares, maintains and updates project plans, agendas and systems set-up for projects.
  • Applies Lean Six Sigma methodology to process improvement projects.
  • Identifies and acquires appropriate resources, materials needed, ensuring availability necessary for project deliverables.
  • Serves as a central point of contact to routinely relay, facilitate and keep stakeholders apprised of the project’s status.  Respond to questions or inquiries regarding the project.  Conducts risk assessment of strategic, technical, financial, or business factors affecting the project.  Monitors project deliverables and progress through the duration of the project plan, managing deviations as appropriate, including project scope.  Identifies factors jeopardizing the project and escalates issues as appropriate. 
  • Conducts post project reviews with participation and guidance from management team to capture learnings and identify areas for future improvement.
  • Represents the customer in HR project, policy and processes by direct attention to the needs, expectations and satisfaction levels of the management and employees, understanding that quality and value are dictated by the customer not the service provider.
  • Once implemented/established, trains and transitions the ongoing day-to-day maintenance to the service / process owner.
  • Manages the development and maintenance of a comprehensive library of HR policies and procedures with a focus on best practices, compliance and efficiency, develops, socializes, and implements new/updated policies and procedures.

Requirements

This position requires:

1)  Experience as an HR Generalist, HR Business Partner or equitant combination of education and experience. 

2)  Experience implementing Lean / Six Sigma in a service delivery function.  Green Belt Certification.           

Other Job requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • Project Management Experience Required
  • Minimum of 4 Years’ Experience of HR Management in a Service/HQ Environment Required.
  • Minimum of 2 Years’ Experience in Lean Six Sigma
  • SPHR Preferred
