The College is currently seeking a Human Resources Recruiting Coordinator to support ACOG's talent acquisition efforts in many of the front-end aspects of the recruiting cycle including, but not limited to: posting, sourcing, and management of all candidate interviewing logistics. The Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the HR team on a variety of projects and initiatives.



  • Perform initial resume review, evaluating candidates' qualifications and strengths compared with job requirements
  • Screen and refer qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing
  • Provide information on ACOG's operations and job opportunities to potential applicants
  • Maintain records on recruiting activities as required
  • Coordinate logistics of interviews with hiring managers and communicates scheduled appointments

Human Resources

  • Complete onboarding of new employees, send welcome emails, and ensure all documentation within their employee file is complete
  • Support HR team in developing and deploying necessary communications related to HR events and processes
  • Answer employee requests and questions in a timely and courteous manner
  • Maintain employee files (in HRIS and hardcopy) and ensure compliance with all record-keeping and filings
  • Keep employee records up-to-date in a timely manner by processing employee status changes and personnel action forms
  • Complete and distribute employment verification requests
  • Maintain and update HR's page on the Intranet
  • Perform other duties or coordinate special projects as requested

  • Bachelor's degree in related field required
  • Minimum of two years relevant HR experience
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including strong writing skills
  • Creative problem-solving skills, initiative, sound judgment, diplomacy and discretion
  • Knowledge and proficiency in using the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Visio)
  • Experience with ADP WorkForce Now and a talent acquisition software preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to be both self-directed and collaborative, as appropriate to the task or project
