Job Details

Grand Rapids Foam Technologies (GRFT) located in Grand Rapids Michigan is recruiting a H.R. Specialist to support hourly, professional and administrative recruiting activities, employee relations and H.R. generalist projects.

This work is fast paced and involves managing multiple H.R. projects across several locations and a variety of business functions including manufacturing, quality assurance,  manufacturing engineering, materials/logistics, finance and sales/marketing.

Project work includes;  managing temporary agency vendor relationships,  recruiting specialized positions using state of the art recruiting solutions including networking, social media and staffing agency strategies.   

Additionally, this position will provide H.R. Generalist solutions for a variety of topics including employee relations,  training, and communication.

GRFT has locations in West Michigan and McAllen Texas.

 

 

Requirements

 

The ideal candidate will have a 4 year degree in business administration, management, or human resources.  A Masters Degree is highly preferred.  5+ years work experience in a fast paced  (manufacturing preferred) work environment.  Successful recruiting project work experiences   (such as staffing large manufacturing facilities, working on very specific engineering recruitment projects and coordinating temporary staffing vendors across a three shift manufacturing operation.)

Additionally,  candidates must have strong written and verbal communications skills  (Spanish speaking is preferred). 

Strong working knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, ADA, advanced recruiting platforms, HRIS/payroll systems, and basic benefit design features are highly desired.
