Our Firmwide Human Resources department has an excellent opportunity in the Cleveland office for a Human Resources Technology Specialist.  This position will provide hands-on functional, reporting and technical support for all HR Technology systems.  Support includes daily human resources operations and core human resources functions, benefits administration, recruitment, and performance management.  The main responsibilities are:

  • Implement solutions in all HR software systems/databases including NuView, Kronos Timekeeping System, Access and Vi Desktop. 
  • Serve as a “super user” in all HR Technology systems and databases.
  • Perform configuration, setup and testing support for new modules and business processes.
  • Assist department from a technology aspect in the administration of the performance evaluation, compensation and open enrollment processes. 
  • Compile data and fulfill ad hoc reporting requests including generating labels, diversity statistics, etc. 
  • Perform audit research and conduct process audits to ensure data integrity; work with users of data to resolve issues. 
  • Educate functional-users and super-users on core HR business process. 
  • Educate employees and managers on Kronos and self-service transactions. 
  • Document business processes thru work plans and manuals. 
  • Serve on HR Technology teams and committees.
  • Research, recommend and implement technology improvements within the HR function.
  • Compile and transmit data to various vendors including the year-end upload of compensation and deduction files to payroll vendor.
  • Compile and transmit data to other firm departments.
  • Compile data and assist with analysis for the year-end HR report.


  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) from a two year College with 1-3 years of related technical experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel and Access.  Working knowledge of Crystal Reports, MS Visual Studio, MS SQL and other related technical components of an HR, benefits, performance and timekeeping system preferred. 
  • Proven aptitude to learn new software applications.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills both oral and written and excellent organizational and planning skills with ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines. 
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Outstanding creativity; flexibility and persistence; motivation and energy with the ability to work with little supervision and collaborate with other members of the team.
  • A tolerance for uncertainty and an ability to prioritize and complete simultaneous projects with minimal supervision. 
  • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential and sensitive information.
  • A strong client service approach and team orientation.
  • Demonstrate good judgment, tact, and flexibility under pressure in a mixed-matrix environment with many stakeholders and potentially competing priorities.
