Job Details

This role affords a meaningful opportunity to impact the Fort Worth site by implementing Labor Relations (LR) strategies critical to achieving operational goals of the organization. There is significant collaboration with veteran and high potential LR practitioners as well as with technical, engineering and production operations clients in support of the development, manufacture, and sustainment of the most sophisticated aircraft in the world. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Interpret and administer collective bargaining agreements and provide advice and counsel to line management.

Administer employee discipline system.

Consult and partner with first-line, departmental, and directorial leadership to achieve their strategic and tactical plans in a metric-oriented environment.

Manage represented personnel transactions, grievance administration, investigations, and other daily operations of the Fort Worth Labor Relations function.

Partner with other organizations including but not limited to HR, Legal, Worker’s Compensation, Health and Wellness, Culture Diversity and EEO, Ethics, and Legal to manage and administer a broad range of HR activities affecting represented employees.

Ensure compliance with policy, NLRB, FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and other workforce management laws and regulations as they pertain to the represented workforce.

Interface with LM Aero-Fort Worth unions.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications
- Familiar with working in a Unionized Environment
- Familiar with grievance procedure administration including settlement negotiations and contribution toward preparation of arbitration presentations.
- Effective investigative techniques.
- Ability to interact effectively in a conflict environment and provide resolutions.
- Proficient with Microsoft office tools.
