We currently are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and innovative LMS Specialist. This key position will be based in our corporate offices located in Northridge, CA (So. CA).

Position Summary:

Develops, delivers, and coordinates learning activities for all levels of employees.  Provides L&D support to the organization and is responsible for timely and accurate maintenance of the Learning Management System, LMS.  Reports to the Learning & Development Manager and aids in the creation of a learning organization aligned to positive business results.


  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining Pharmavite's learning management system (LMS) including training the organization and/or applicable personnel in its use.
  • Responsible for developing and maintaining system user procedures, guidelines, and documentation of all LMS processes. Manages users, learning objects, and courses in the LMS.
  • Schedules internal training and/or development courses. Follows the end-to-end process from room booking, training availability, invites, and course confirmations.
  • Provides functional and technical support to end users in services and training. Communicates with IT and vendor(s) to resolve problems.
  • Analyzes learning trends and statistics, and recommends best practices that support value-added enhancements. Captures key data to demonstrate ROI of learning initiatives.
  • Accountable for assigned L&D projects from beginning to end using project management methodologies and tools, as appropriate.
  • Conducts training classes, tutorials or help sessions on a group or individual basis based on the needs of the department.
  • Promotes learning activity through a variety of media, maximizing LMS as a tool and increasing use of LMS.
  • Supports the creation and/or revision of existing learning and development programs, including but not limited to Orientation, Online Learning, Employee Development, and Leadership Training.
  • Tracks training / learning activity and records key metrics ensuring training, histories are complete and up to date, including evaluations and assessments.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:


      Requires a four-year college or university degree




Requires 3-5 years professional experience in a HR, OD, or IT with experience in systems management. Previous experience of administering e-learning or similar platforms desirable



  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and schedule multiple tasks with minimal supervision and adjust to changing priorities and assignments.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate to multiple levels of technical understanding.
  • Understands user account management, directory, file structures, and systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Team player mentality and collaboration skills; strong grasp on working cross functionally
  • Proficient in personal computing equipment and software packages such as Microsoft Word, MS Project, Excel, Visio, and others.
  • Flexibility and eagerness to learn and develop.

Physical Requirements: 

General office environment, ability to sit for long periods.  Ability to move about an office and travel between facilities.


Exposure to disagreeable elements is negligible.


The incumbent must be able to perform this job safely without endangering the health or safety of self or others.
