Manager Human Resources – HRIS and Systems

The New York City School Construction Authority is seeking a talented HR Professional with a great disposition. This is an exciting opportunity to roll up your sleeves and jump into the construction industry.

The Manager Human Resources - HRIS and Systems is a newly created, high-impact position for an individual to become a key partner to the business. The successful candidate must possess a specialization in Human Resources systems with core knowledge in areas such as HRIS, reporting, payroll, timekeeping, compensation, planning, budgeting, and financials. You will play a strategic role in implementing and integrating systems to help drive the success of the SCA, and help us become a leader in the construction industry. The Manager will provide our employees with exceptional customer service by enhancing and aligning our systems to our service delivery model, spearheaded by a team of HR Generalists.


The ideal candidate should have a Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university; five years of full time experience with an HR generalist background including HRIS implementation, maintenance, and reporting. Three years in a managerial/supervisory role is required. Working knowledge of electronic documents, including Microsoft Office Suite, Workday or related systems preferred.
